Wow -- how to answer that.

First though - I think your reply to this comment button is not working.

The usual ways for article submission. I nailed a list off w/fire and have been hitting 5 a day.

I also have advertised on some of the free wesite classifieds, i am amazed at some of the traffic from those

Made a Squidoo page

Submit to directories

Got some of the key words ranked

Wrote some articles on the site that are free ex: how to solder copper pipe to copper pipe - how to install your own hot water tank

Back links to relevent sites ( although this is getting harder ) There was an awsome article written on wicked fire by the cynic that help with a bunch of back links, and of course a link here MUCHAS GRACIOUS

Videos to about 15 sites

And of course my network of sites thats growing and helping me by throwing a few links, and articles on them.

I seem to be averaging about 50 folks a day now. I imagine in a few months with a few more videos and some more promoting i should be tricking about $30 a day . AWSOME

Any Ideas are totallllllly welcome

Starting a directory project very soon, will post if it goes well

Hay Alan -- Thats exactly what i did. Currently selling a book a day (and the site is only around for 3 months) for $9.97 The Ultimate Furnace Installation Instructions if anybody wants to look at what i did.

Took me a few months to write the book. My wife edited it, and for three months now $9.97 a day. I used paypal btw, .50 per book. I also used a digital delivery system that is called smartdd , free ,well for the first three products. I believe the link is www.smartdd.com duh. PS they will set it up for $20 bucks , I did it myself though to get it under my belt.

Took me about two weeks to figure out my host server, word press, and the smartdd with paypal thing. It was my first time ,, good lessons though.

Like Alan though it was my first project, and i keep expanding on it. I also have a larger project that i am working on that i chip away at day by day.

I know it's a problem.
I also thought about GoogleCheckout but heard some horror stories that in case of credit cards frauds the refund is charged to the seller + extra fees.
For this I must admit that don't have any CC fraud issue with clickbank

Again, if doing this today, I would have a look at paypal, you can find now some API in PHP

Ahah well I didn't want to mention the payment processing, but ok I'll tell you.

At first I used CCbill because I thought I would sell 10,000 e-books the first year LOL :)
CCbill were reliable but you need to do serious business to make it profitable, because of the fees. When I say serious business, I mean several thousands of dollars a month, otherwise it's not worth it.

I used then clickbank, which I loathe, because
1) they pay by check
2) you need to pay to get your e-book included in their catalog
3) if you don't make a sell during a couple of weeks you pay weekly fees, which is bad for beginners, and totally unfair, as it doesn't cost anything for them.

Moreover, their affiliate system is not as great as it seems, I make maybe 15% of my sales at most through affiliates.

But it's a no worry system.

Looking back, if I was doing it today, I would probably rely on paypal only.
But in 2006 paypal payment was a pain to associate to automatic sales delivery.
