There are assholes, who are making money of destroying and bitching computers.I know you didnt. I made once a trojan for a guy who made money of sending viruses for his "friends" and then he earned money of removing them.I wasnt affected in this case but I felt revenge. I packed my trojan in a game and sent him. You could control it over IRC, it was able to shut your computer, monitor down, etc. But I never harmed computers nor did I hijacked others pc and made money of that. And I dont see the point whats funny of that? Now I have this peace of shit DNS changer trojan and I could brake the neck of that little motherfucker who programed it.

I just wrote a post to explain how I track my screensavers installs, with the scripts included.

To track the screensaver installs, I used the following trick:
Every screensaver install always ends up by displaying a specific page of my website, this is done in the Setup installer script.
The command is normally something like:

Execute "explorer http://www.blablasavers.com/ads.php"

What I did instead is adding a different parameter for every screensaver:
E.g.:

Execute "explorer http://www.blablasavers.com/ads.php?scr=Porsche_Carrera_928"

This way you can easily track in your stats how many installs you have per day (=how many times in total the ads.php has been called).
You can also easily differentiate how many installs per screensaver you have!

To track the homepage installs, just put a hidden stat code in your homepage html, personnaly I like Statcounter.

Another brilliant post! That was some good ideas there. I have one question though, how do you track your homepage installs? I just finished a couple screensaver and submitted them to pad sites. I want to track how many people set to my homepage though. Another thing, do you know how to track downloads? Like I know, which screensaver of mine is the hottest by tracking the number of downloads?

You clever devil! Very interesting ideas here. And if you feel compelled, I'd love if you would post the actual code / executables you asked about.
