2009 update of my Free Pad Submitter
I don’t mind paying for a service if it’s good enough to save me time, during which I’ll be able to make money.
But when the service becomes bad, I have to write my own tools.
This is why I had written my Free Pad Submitter in the first place, and this is why I have updated it now.
I had first made it for the project about screensavers, originally invented by Eli/Blue Hat SEO in 2006.
This project was not as easy and quick as Eli proposed, I had to add some twists to actually make money, and it took me quite some time before I could put it in use, so regarding the time spent, I had calculated that it would be considered profitable if it would be making money until the end of 2008. Well, guess what, I must say congratulations to Eli, because it still makes me money (without doing anything, it’s pure passive income).
Of course, since 2006, lots of people have done it, and now the field of screensavers is really saturated, but still I wanted to experiment a little bit with a couple of new screensavers to see the results.
This is why last month I have paid for a new licence to each of the 3 most popular pad submitters, and I was disappointed with the results : Almost 1000 submissions, and almost no results (99% of the sites where my screensavers are listed are shit).
So I checked my 2008 stats, to see where my screensavers where downloaded the most, then build my top-100 list of softwares repositories, and updated my Pad Submitter with this list.
So have fun with it, you can download it here

i will have to look into this and see if i can take advantage of it this time around. this sounds like one of those set-it and forget-it type projects right? so im thinking that there are still tons of people looking for wallpapers of whatever out there. is there a streamlined process for this or is it still the way it was laid out in the past post?
btw, thanks for your help man. im still putting that stuff together but i do see the potential. im just working out the logistics of it. you are the man
Yes for this kind of project, basically you set up a website where you put free resources to download.
Add some ads on your website, and also on the resources to download (cf my post “Monetize your programs” -> http://www.ideasbeta.com/monetize-your-programs-the-screensavers-case ).
Then with the PAD submitter, you get your stuff referenced on software repositories, and they send you traffic.
You can put almost any exe file on software repositories, so it can be a screensaver, but also an executable that will install wallpapers, icons, windows themes, etc. Your imagination is the limit.
Hello,
I got your pad submitter, created the pad file, and submitted it…
I was amazed on how fast your submitter breezed through the submissions…
But Here’s the question…
I’m new to the software submission game, and although I got a lot of ’successful’ messages, I can’t find any trace of the submission on any of the sites…
Would you have any knowledge that could help me?
Hi Jason, send me an email at

with the URL of your PAD file and I’ll check it out.
Yes that goes fast because I implemented what’s called multithreading, a big word to say that operations are done in TRUE paralleling (unlike any other pad submitter)
ok damn that’s a big sentence to say that it’s meant to go faster than any other pad submitter.
